Introduction to the ProjectThis is a tutorial on SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) entirely written in Amharic1. According to the SVG specification, "SVG is a language for describing two-dimensional graphics in XML XML10. SVG allows for three types of graphic objects: vector graphic shapes (e.g., paths consisting of straight lines and curves), images and text. ..." SVG can be used both with web or independent of web. Here it is implemented and presented as web application. The tutorial covers several of the fundamental features and provides many examples that illustrate each subjects.
